Identification of the owner of the website
In compliance with the provisions of art. 10 of Law 34/2002, of 11 July, on Information Society Services and Electronic Commerce (LSSICE), we hereby inform you that this website is the property of the UNIVERSIDAD INTERNACIONAL DE LA RIOJA, S.A. (hereinafter, EDUNIR).
EDUNIR is duly registered in the Mercantile Registry of La Rioja, in Volume 666, Book 0, Page 8 and Sheet LO-11959.
Access to the website (www.edunir.net)
Certain parts of the website are restricted to student use only, (EDUNIR virtual campus) by using a username and password previously assigned when you register for your studies. Those users of the page who are not registered students may access the public sections of the page, and must refrain from attempting to access the student virtual campus.
The user is obligated to use the website in a diligent and correct manner. In this sense, they are obligated not to use it:
EDUNIR declines any responsibility derived from the use of the website by the user with these prohibited purposes.
EDUNIR reserves the right to carry out, at any time and without the need for previous notice to the users of the web, the updates and modifications that it considers appropriate, both in the information contained and in the structure of the page, as well as the faculty to change the conditions of access to the portal.
Likewise, EDUNIR is not responsible for possible communication failures, and therefore cannot guarantee the continuous operation and availability of access to the website. In these cases, the University will carry out all actions aimed at correcting the aforementioned errors as soon as possible.
EDUNIR informs the users that in order to be able to visualize certain contents of the page, they must have specific software for the visualization of documents.
With respect to the Virtual Campus for students, EDUNIR guarantees its teaching activity through applications designed to be used on personal computers with Internet Explorer, Google Chrome, and Mozilla Firefox browsers. Although it works practically in its entirety, the perfect functioning of the Campus with other devices or browsers is not guaranteed; EDUNIR is working on adapting the Virtual Campus to these technologies as well.
Students must have an ADSL Internet connection of at least 3MB to view the live virtual classroom sessions. However, viewing is not a prerequisite for successful completion of the course.
When registering, students must expressly authorize EDUNIR to use their personal data to create an account in their name in the Office 365 tool, so that they can access the services provided by the Virtual Library to prepare their papers or presentations using the Office package free of charge.
Intellectual and Industrial Property
EDUNIR is the owner and/or licensee of all the content of this page, including its images, graphic designs, blog posts, text, brands, logos, and all types of data, as well as the source code, design, and structure of the page.
EDUNIR has the exclusive right of reproduction, distribution, modification, and communication of the same, as well as all the rights of exploitation in any form.
All the content of the page is protected by the regulations on intellectual and industrial property, and the availability and use, possible consultation or downloading does not imply in any case the transfer of any rights over the intellectual or industrial property of such material or content.
The viewing, downloading, and printing of the contents of the website will not be permitted if it is done for advertising or commercial purposes, or for distribution, public communication, or modification and, in general, in cases where such acts are incompatible with the purposes of this page. In all other cases, prior written authorization will be requested from EDUNIR and the source must be cited.
In any case, the logos, graphics, images, icons, etc. that are part of the web page cannot be used separately from the text they accompany or from the rest of the images or graphics they are part of.
EDUNIR reserves the right to exercise the corresponding legal actions against the users who violate or infringe upon the intellectual and industrial property rights, including the compensation of the damages caused. Likewise, the user is obliged to compensate EDUNIR for any damage that could be caused by the improper use of this web.
Any information that the users of the website may provide as suggestions, proposals, etc., are considered to have been received and given free of charge, so please refrain from sending any information that does not have the aforementioned nature.
Both the access to this website and the use that may be made of the information contained therein is the exclusive responsibility of the user, who expressly assumes that access and use of the portal is under his sole and exclusive responsibility.
For this reason, EDUNIR will not be responsible in any case for the possible damages that could be derived from the access or the use of the information by the user, as well as for the possible errors or damages that the computer system of the user could suffer (hardware and software), its files, or stored documents, as a consequence of the presence of a virus in their computer, poor operation of the browser, or using non-updated versions of the browser.
By virtue of Law 34/2002 of 11 July on Information Society Services and Electronic Commerce, Spanish legislation shall apply to any dispute that may arise. The user will be responsible, in any case, for the veracity of the data provided, and EDUNIR reserves the right to exclude from the registered services any user who has provided false or inaccurate data, without prejudice to other actions that may proceed in law.
Participation in forums, chats, social networks, and virtual communities
EDUNIR is not responsible for the opinions expressed in the forums, chats and other on-line participation spaces. The messages published in these spaces represent only the opinion of their authors and not that of the administrators or moderators (except in messages published by them).
By registering in these spaces users must agree not to publish abusive, discriminatory, obscene, vulgar material, relating to any form of violence, threatening, or any other form that in any way violates the laws in force. Likewise, the users accept that EDUNIR will carry out the actions of deleting, editing, moving, or closing any message that they may consider inappropriate or not pertinent.
For any kind of controversy existing due to the access or use of the portal, the users of the web page and EDUNIR, with express resignation to any other jurisdiction that could correspond to them, are submitted to the jurisdiction of the Courts and Tribunals of La Rioja.
